Heavy Equipment Shop Technician

We are looking for a detail-oriented Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (mechanic) with a passion for quality in repair. As a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician, you will provide timely and accurate repairs and troubleshooting in our shop on customer and company owned machines. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, machine evaluation, repair, and documentation on all brands serviced.

Preferred Qualification and Qualities

  • Heavy Equipment Shop Service Experience
  • Dealership or Rental Service Experience
  • Experience with Komatsu and/or Takeuchi Equipment
  • High Level of Self-Motivation
  • A Can-Do Attitude
  • Detail Oriented

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Qualified candidates must have 2+ years of successful hands-on experience or equivalent combination of technical training and in shop experience in Heavy Equipment repair
  • Highschool Diploma or GED
  • Competent in MS Excel / Word / Outlook
  • Competent in efficiently operating a laptop computer
  • Valid driver license including a clean driving record subject to background check
  • Must provide your own hand and power tools required to perform work efficiently

Work Environment:

  • Shop environment with exposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt and noise. Lifting 60 LBS, climbing, and standing for an extended amount of time.
  • Field environment with exposure to adverse weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, dust and dirt. Lifting 60 LBS, climbing, and standing for an extended amount of time.
  • Office environment. When visiting the corporate office, business professional appearance must always be maintained.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $35.00 per hour
