Preventive Maintenance Technician
- Schedules preventative maintenance appointments with customers.
- Performs assigned preventive maintenance services and repairs including inspections, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshoots malfunctions. Disassembles, cleans, and inspect parts and pieces of machinery.
- Conducts necessary machine performance and diagnostic tests, interprets results and makes an independent decision as to the extent of machine repair as assigned. Performs basic repairs as needed. Reports complex repair issues to supervisor for scheduling.
- Performs schedule oil sampling (SOS) accurately and sends samples to lab.
- Identifies potential safety problems on all makes and types of construction equipment through walk around inspection and reports them to the supervisor and/or the customer.
- Must have minimum 2 years experience with a variety of equipment
