Parts Manager is responsible for the financial success of the parts department.

Essential Functions
1. Effectively manage the department including parts counter and warehouse personnel, efficiently and with cost effectiveness.

2. Forecast and plan processes and procedures to maximize department efficiency.

3. Plan and execute short and long term objectives in line with company goals.

4.. Maintain proper inventory levels, inventory turns, off-shelf fill rate.

5. Ensure excellent customer service to customers by all department employees.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (6-8 years ) in parts operations and sales.

2. Purchasing certification preferred but not required.

3. Demonstrated understanding of financial reporting principles.

4. Supervisory and management training.

5. Demonstrated understanding of pricing principles and discounting effects.

6. Working knowledge of warehouse storage layout principles.

7. Product knowledge including features and benefits knowledge of all products sold.
