You must be capable of working independently or in teams on gaseous-fueled power generation
equipment in the 300kw to 4.0 Mw range.

Requirements include having a blend of mechanical and electrical capabilities.

Responsibilities:
• Scheduled maintenance and repairs, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of
engines, generators, controls, switchgear, emissions controls, and auxiliary equipment.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on all generating set systems, including: fuel
delivery, ignition, lube oil, cooling, exhaust systems, turbo charging as well as engine
internal components.
• Performing minor and major engine overhauls in the field
• Electrical troubleshooting and problem solving requires strong AC/DC power skills,
ability to read and interpret schematics, troubleshoot and repair electrical contactors,
motors, relays, contacts, generator components, and controls.
• A working knowledge of PLC control systems, relays, digital/analog inputs-outputs.

Qualifications:
• Computer literate
• Good oral, written, and inter-personal skills
• Capable of learning, working independently, exhibiting common sense and good
judgment, and fostering a safe working environment.
• Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2-3 years work experience either in power
generation service, industrial mechanical-electrical troubleshooting and repairs, or
marine engineering. Reciprocating engine experience is a must.
Technical school, related military technical, electrical/mechanical engineering degrees, or
maritime engineering backgrounds preferred.

We require stand by and prime power generation system experience.
