Electric Power Generation Technician Responsibilities:
Electric Power Generation Technician is ultimately responsible for locating, diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing power generation equipment and related equipment. Preventive and annual maintenance to major overhauls. Must be able to work on the generator engines as well as all the electrical aspects. Will order parts and submit appropriate documentation as required. Will work overnight on occasion in a field position and regularly in a road tech position.
Electric Power Generation Technician Qualifications:
Must have minimum 5 years’ exp diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical failures and performing minor to major repairs and overhauls.
MUST be able to do parallel, load bank , switchgear, start up, use diagnostic software and specialty tools. Must know OHMS law and other laws pertaining to electricity.
Valid driver’s license with NO OWI in the past 7 years, clean criminal and must have master set of tools required to do the job.
