The service manager directs and efficient and profitable service department through productive staffing, customer retention, cost controls, achievement of objectives, and maintenance of service records. Direct responsibility for day to day operation of service operations of the branch, and profit/loss, operational performance, cost of operation, maintenance, operational safety and compliance with environmental laws and regulation. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
