Crane Service Manager

Crane Service Managers are responsible for the service department at one of our branch locations. This position is for our Chicago, IL location.

Our service managers work to provide our customers an unmatched customer experience. We do whatever it takes to have 100% customer satisfaction every job, every time. Responsibilities include managing the service department at this location, working with service managers from other locations, monitoring and reporting job progress to the dispatch department, meeting with executive team on a monthly basis, responding to emergency breakdowns, preforming OSHA inspections, preventative maintenance and load tests, installing new equipment and parts, troubleshooting hoists, cranes, and lifting devices, completing price and availability paper work and inspection sheets using an iPad and computer. Assist with maintenance and other duties at the service department.

Requirements

• Availability to be on call
• Availability to travel
• Excellent customer service
• Experience in the CRANE service industry
• Experience in the material handling industry
• Other beneficial skills:
• Business degree preferred
• Previous experience as a crane service technician
• Previous MSHA certification
• Previous OSHA training
• Previous sales experience
• Previous service manager experience
